Student Massage Clinic Supervisor

WellSpring School of Allied Health is a Kansas City-based post-secondary school that exclusively focused on preparing graduates for successful careers in health and wellness-oriented professions. This part-time position is a part of our Massage Therapy program.

Job Description:

The clinic supervisor will be able to successfully:

Instruct adult students in a massage therapy clinic setting.

Assist students in providing excellent customer service and clinical reasoning.

Present a positive environment for learning and interaction.

Demonstrate strength in instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques.

Ability to work evenings is a plus, as we offer daytime and evening clinic shifts.

The ideal candidate will be highly personable, outgoing and must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal abilities and have a track record of achieving results by working through other people.

Job Duties:

  • Instruct students in a public massage clinic to prepare them for the job field.
  • Effectively supervise and lead students learning to work in a clinical environment.
  • Work the front desk, answering phones, booking appointments, grading, and providing effective customer service to clients.
  • Work closely with the Clinic Manager, Program Manager, and Campus Director to ensure students are successful in their studies and clinic internships.

Job Skills/Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will have a valid license to practice massage in the state of Missouri, and will have at least 2 years of massage therapy experience.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer competency is required.
  • The ability to multitask and follow specific instructions is a must.
